Loom

· ⵜⴰⵙⵉⴼⵜⴰ ·

النول

A loom is the wooden frame used by artisans to weave rugs by hand. It holds the warp threads in place while weft threads are woven across, forming the rug’s structure. Every Izil rug begins here, knot by knot, thread by thread.

Pile

· ⵜⵉⵣⵣⴰ ·

وبرة

The pile is the soft surface of a rug, created by knotting wool onto the warp. Its height and density affect texture, softness, and insulation. High-pile rugs feel plush, while low-pile rugs offer a flatter, denser surface.

Bedroom

The key here is making sure there’s enough rug space on each side of your bed—we suggest leaving at least 3 to 4 feet for extra comfort.

Twin bed

Twin Bed with a 5’x8’ Rug
You can place a 4’x6’ or 5’x8’ rug under the lower two-thirds of your twinbed, leaving your nightstands off the rug. This way, you’ll still have plenty of cozy rug space around the bed to comfortably step onto each morning.

Twin Bed with a 6’x9’ Rug
If you’d like more rug space at the foot of your bed, a 6’x9’ rug is perfect—it nicely anchors your furniture and feels balanced.
