Every Izil rug is woven to order, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. Minor variations in size (up to 3-4″) and pattern placement may occur depending on your chosen dimensions — we see these as the beautiful marks of true craftsmanship. Natural wool may show subtle tonal shifts due to organic shading, and the colors of your rug may appear slightly different in person than they do on your screen.

We believe these small irregularities are not flaws, but signs of authenticity and true craftsmanship— reminders that your rug was made by hand, just for you.

This rug is made from hand-knotted silk and should be treated with care. Avoid placing it in high-traffic areas. Vacuum gently with a flat nozzle (no rotating brushes), and rotate periodically to prevent uneven fading. Spills should be blotted immediately, never rubbed. For deep cleaning, we recommend professional care. For more, visit our Care Guide.

All orders are final, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom-sized or in-stock rugs. For more details, please visit our Shipping & Return Policy.

Bedroom

The key here is making sure there’s enough rug space on each side of your bed—we suggest leaving at least 3 to 4 feet for extra comfort.

Twin bed

Twin Bed with a 5’x8’ Rug
You can place a 4’x6’ or 5’x8’ rug under the lower two-thirds of your twinbed, leaving your nightstands off the rug. This way, you’ll still have plenty of cozy rug space around the bed to comfortably step onto each morning.

Twin Bed with a 6’x9’ Rug
If you’d like more rug space at the foot of your bed, a 6’x9’ rug is perfect—it nicely anchors your furniture and feels balanced.
